Hosting French Visitors and they loved the Liver and Bacon!
You are familiar with our most popular lunch choice of liver and bacon, its very popular with regulars to Mahons Hotel, however last week we discovered that for the french it is a traditional dish too. Two visitors from France came for lunch having been to the Ulster American Folk Park and The Famine Memorial Garden in Irvinestown. They were ready for a hearty lunch when they arrived and wanted something traditional, thats where our liver and bacon came into play. We exchanged stories of traditional food and they finished off their meal with our famous award winning Mist of the Cocktail. Looking forward to greeting more french visitors over the holiday season.
